Welcome to Debbie Ruskin Counselling Services
I am a qualified, experienced counsellor based in Manchester UK.
I offer person-centred counselling for many issues including anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, illness, disability, relationships, abuse, sexuality and self-esteem.
I work as a therapist with adults and children in a warm, safe and confidential environment.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I abide by their Code of Ethics and Practice.
I am also a member of Counselling Northwest.
I have a Diploma in Counselling and a university degree, plus further counselling training.
My own experience of emotional pain and the process of recovery enhances my personal as well as professional understanding and informs my work as a counsellor.
I have written about my experiences in my book 'A Candle for Lisa', which was published by Pennine Pens in 2002.
