Counselling & how I can help
I offer confidential counselling for many issues and work with adults, young people, couples and small groups. My aim is to help you to explore your concerns and to find ways forward that are right for you.
Issues I can help with
You may be considering counselling because a particular event could be causing distress, or there may be a feeling of needing to deal with something that has been going on for some time. Whatever your concern and level of distress, you may find counselling to be of some help.
As a counsellor, my aim is to facilitate and support you in a safe and confidential environment to explore the issues you choose to talk about without being rushed or judged and help you to find your own way forward.
My counselling approach is person-centred. This is based on a fundamental belief that people can heal in a favourable environment, provided through a supportive therapeutic relationship.
Creative/art therapy is also available.
Therapy sessions usually last 1 hour and are offered weekly, but this can be varied depending on your need and my availability. You can have as many or as few sessions as you feel you need.
I am happy to offer a free initial phone consultation before you book an appointment, to help you to assess if what I offer feels right for you.

This is for individual or couples/small group sessions. Discount is available for block booking of sessions.
