Reiki & how I can help

I am a Reiki Master and I am specially and highly trained to offer Reiki.

Reiki is a practice of natural healing which was developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan. It has since been passed down and spread worldwide.

Reiki pronounced “Ray Key”, is a Japanese word that means Universal Life Energy. Energy or Ki is considered to be vital for health and wellbeing. When it is low or blocked, we may become more prone to suffering, stress or illness. Reiki can help stimulate a healthy flow of Ki.

Reiki can activate the body’s own self-healing processes. It may be safely given to people of all ages including children and also to animals. Reiki should not be used as an alternative to necessary medical treatment but can be used to complement conventional and other holistic therapies.

Many issues can be helped with Reiki – physical and health problems, emotional, mental, and spiritual concerns. It can facilitate physical and emotional healing in harmony with your needs and best interests.

Reiki treatments are non-invasive and usually last up to an hour, depending on requirements. You would either lie down or sit according to what is comfortable and be fully clothed. During a healing treatment, Reiki flows through me, the healer, to you, the recipient. My hands would be placed on or above your body, depending on your preference and fully respecting body privacy. All that is needed to receive Reiki is the desire to receive it.

What does a Reiki treatment feel like? People can experience receiving Reiki in different ways. It may be felt as warmth, coolness, a mild tingling sensation, a feeling of deep relaxation, or sometimes nothing is felt at all during the treatment itself. Your experience of receiving Reiki will be right for you at the time.
